Instruction for Applying
- Click on forms, select and print loan application.
- Follow directions on page 2 of loan form.
- Submit Loan Application and Master Promissory Note to the Financial Aid Office.
Lender List Rationale
The Financial Aid Office at Bates Technical College provides a lender list which includes a variety of lending institutions. We do not have a “preferred” lender list nor do we restrict students to any particular lender.
The lender list is comprised of lenders in the immediate area, lenders who offer the best benefits, and lenders who students have asked about in the past. The list explains clearly to the students that they are free to select any lender of their choice. Each student and parent borrower is encouraged to research and make an informed choice of lender.
Bates Technical College does not participate in revenue sharing with lenders nor do we have agreements with lenders regarding referrals.
