Welcome!

Welcome to Glendale Community College’s student loan comparison tool, powered by SimpleTuition.

To help you with the selection process, this site presents a list of lenders to compare in an interactive format. On the comparison pages, be sure to review borrower benefits for which you may be eligible. You can compare options side-by-side.

To best use this tool, review your costs, financial aid, and resources for the entire academic year and determine what amount you will need to borrow.

The Financial Aid Office encourages borrowers to compare lenders to make an informed choice.

Lender List Rationale

The Glendale Community College Office of Financial Aid works diligently to offer the best financial aid service and options possible. Lenders’ policies and loan products are reviewed on an annual basis in an effort to identify lenders which offer good customer service and lender benefits for the borrower. Generally, these benefits change on an annual basis.

Today’s current market conditions have lead to elimination of benefits by some lenders. This environment has also caused some lenders to no longer participate in the Federal Family Education Loan Program or restrict their lending practices. As a borrower you may change your lender at any time; however, we highly recommend that once you have chosen a lender you remain with that lender throughout your education to ensure a much smoother transition into repayment.

The compiled list of lending institutions are those whom our students utilized for their student loans during the period of January 2006 – December 2007, and are still participating in the federal loan program or have not restricted their lending practices.

Please note that you are not required to use one of these lenders. The Financial Aid Office will process your loan with any Federal Family Education Loan Program participating lender you choose.
