About College Scholarships

idaho scholarshipsIn today’s competitive job market, a college degree is an absolute must for nearly every well-paying, respectable position. Getting a college degree is easier said than done, especially considering the increasing cost of tuition. In order to address this problem, federal and state governments, in addition to educational institutions, private businesses and other organizations are awarding millions of dollars in financial aid every year.

What are Idaho Scholarships?

Financial aid comes in many forms, such as scholarships, grants, work-study, and student loans. Idaho scholarships are available to Idaho residents enrolled at in a degree program. These scholarships are highly sought after, as they are “gifts” of money that do not have to be paid back to anyone. Students who are awarded scholarships are under no financial obligation and so they graduate debt-free. The amount awarded varies depending on the scholarship, but in most cases cover the complete cost of tuition, books and other study materials. Some scholarships even include a living allowance.
