Each year, there are many students who get approved for various financial aid plans available at HPU. The financial aid funds can come from several sources: federal, state, university, or private agencies.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be completed and submitted to be considered for High Point University financial aid. This standard form asks you for your family’s financial status, so supporting documents like bank statements and a list of liabilities are required. Once you submit the FAFSA to the government, they will send the university a Student Aid Report (SAR). The university will use the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on the SAR to determine which financial aid options you are eligible for. The FAFSA form can be downloaded from www.fafsa.ed.gov.
