North Central Financial Aid

The team at the North Central Financial Aid office is there to help students with making one of the most important decisions of their lives. The financial aid office offers a number of resources as well as counseling services to help students and parents better manage their finances. North Central College financial aid includes scholarships, grants, loans, and on-campus employment opportunities. Students who require financial assistance must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (the FAFSA), which can be found online at fafsa.ed.gov. Applicants for scholarships and grants may be required to submit an Institutional Verification Form (IVF) as well.

North Central College financial aid includes scholarships that are awarded to students on the basis of exceptional academic performance in high school. Students can obtain awards of up to $66,000 under these merit scholarships. The college also awards a number of federal and state grants based on displayed need. Both scholarships and grants are “gift aid” and do not have to be paid back. Furthermore, North Central participates in the federal work-study program, allowing students to work on campus. Students can use their earnings to pay for education related expenses, and can also apply for government-backed education loans, which include Stafford and PLUS loans.

Private Student Loans

In case federal or institutional awards are not sufficient enough to pay for all the expenses at college, you may want to consider applying for a private student loan. The student loan comparison tool on our website allows you to view key information about different private loans, helping you make an informed decision when selecting the private student loan that best matches your needs.
