About Palm Beach Atlantic
Established in 1968, Palm Beach Atlantic hosted its first graduation ceremony in 1972 and received its accreditation later that year from the regional accrediting association. Notably, the university boasts a well-designed campus that spreads over 27 acres of land, from Ialong Okeechobee Boulevard to the Dixie Highway. A major part of the new campus, the Lassiter Student Center, was completed in 1983. Today, PBA is comprised of the School of Arts and Sciences, the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business, the Catherine T. MacArthur School of Leadership, the School of Education and Behavioral Studies, the School of Music and Fine Arts, the School of Ministry, the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy, the School of Nursing and the School of Communication and Media.
PBA offers a great education but few are able to afford it. Therefore, almost 97% of all PBA students receive some kind of financial aid either from the institute or from the federal government. The university also offers the option of sending its students abroad. To help students cover the costs of their educational expenses, a number of institutional scholarships, federal grants, loans and federal work-study opportunities are available. The university has made all possible effort to
ensure that deserving students do not suffer due to a lack of finances.
Ever since the recent enhancements in the FAFSA filing process, filling out the FAFSA has become even easier. Now, you may electronically retrieve your tax information using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool and you may submit the FAFSA with all relevant information and documentation online to ensure timely financial assistance.
