SAIC Financial Aid
SAIC’s financial aid program can help you afford an education with ease, as the institute offers a wide range of financial aid programs so that you may obtain one that suits your particular need. To apply for SAIC financial aid, students must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available online at fafsa.ed.gov.
The SAIC financial aid program includes gift awards that include scholarships and grants, which do not have to be repaid. The SAIC financial aid office offers a number of merit-based awards to international students, as all international students are considered for these awards at the time of their admission. Although international students are not eligible for federal aid, they may apply for the university-based work-study. With the help of this program, students can work 20 hours per week, and 40 hours during summers. International students can also look into alternative loans, which can help them cover the costs of their education.
I’ve been told that to apply for financial assistance for summer or winter terms. Do I need to fill out an extra form at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Financial Aid office?
To apply for a separate summer or winter term, students need to submit a completed FAFSA and an SAIC Institutional Application. However, if students are applying on the basis of merit, they only need to submit the SAIC Institutional Application. Note: this application is for on-campus classes only.
