Simpson College Financial Aid
Simpson College maintains a commitment to making a college education accessible to all people, regardless of their financial standing. A large amount of institutional aid, in addition to government sponsored assistance packages, is awarded to students every year. Most awards are a combination of institutional aid, federal grants and loans. Students can also take advantage of private funding.
In order to apply for Simpson College Financial Aid, students are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. The FAFSA can be completed online at fafsa.ed.gov.
Simpson aid includes college sponsored scholarships that are awarded based on academic talent, involvement in the Christian ministry and financial need. A number of need-based grants are also awarded to undergraduate students.
Students can also apply for state and federal aid, which includes education grants and student loans. These include Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Perkins Loans, Subsidized and Unsubsidized Direct Loans and PLUS Loans.
