University of Evansville financial aid is awarded to 95 percent of all full-time students, with the average award being over $23,000 per year. The university’s financial aid office is on hand to help students and parents every step of the way, from applying for aid to better managing financial resources. UE financial aid includes a number of institutional, federal and state-sponsored awards, in addition to financial aid from external sources. In order to be eligible for financial aid, students are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, which can be completed and submitted online at fafsa.ed.gov.
University of Evansville financial aid packages include “gift aid” – essentially aid that does not have to be paid back. This includes scholarships and grants, which are awarded based on academic achievement, displayed financial need, or a combination of the two. Students also have the option of obtaining on-campus employment under the Federal Work-Study Program.
