Notably, the college’s 105 acre campus sits a top Grymes Hill, located in New York City’s borough of Staten Island, providing a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, Manhattan and New York Harbor. Founded with only six students in 1883, the college has come a long way, as it now enrolls 1,800 undergraduate and 375 graduate students from 43 states and 19 countries. Academically, the Wagner Plan for Liberal Arts is an excellent combination of innovative teaching and internship opportunities, which provide students with hands-on experience that trains them for the future. Furthermore, Wagner boasts 96 full-time faculty members, of which 90% of them have obtained the highest degrees in their respective fields. Besides academics, the school provides students with many amazing extracurricular activities, as its sports teams are renowned for their competitiveness.

While the college provides merit-based scholarships and grants to high-achieving students, there are also several federal loans that boast flexible repayment options and low interest rates. Some of these loans include Stafford Loans, Nursing Loans, Perkins Loans and Parents PLUS loans. Moreover, there are federal grants, such as the Federal Pell Grants and Federal Supplementary Educational Opportunity Grants. Students may also be eligible for work-study programs or college-funded payroll programs, which provide employment. Additionally the Wagner College financial aid program is geared towards helping veterans who could be eligible for scholarships: the Post 9/11 GI Bill, the Yellow Ribbon Program, and the Montgomery GI Bill.
