Student Loans for Wooster Students

About the College of Wooster

student loansOperating on a 240-acre campus located in Wooster, Ohio, approximately 55 miles away from Cleveland, the College of Wooster is a liberal arts institution founded in 1866. This college is known for its progressive attitude: the first woman to achieve a PHD did so in 1882 whilst the first black student to enroll did so before 1900. The college prides itself on its ‘independent study’ program, which allows each student in their senior year to complete a study in a field of their choosing. When the study is completed, the student must defend his/her work in front of a faculty board. Many other colleges have copied this unique program and it has been widely lauded.
