The University of Missouri (UM, Missouri, or Mizzou) to many is a large, highly active public research university in Columbia, Missouri. It’s got many points of pride, from having the largest nuclear reactor of any university in the world, as well as being one of only 6 public universities to have schools of medicine, veterinary medicine, engineering, agriculture, and law on campus. Mizzou athletics are pretty great too; in addition to numerous bowl wins and Big 12 divisional titles, Missouri is recognized by the NCAA as the school that created the tradition of ‘Homecoming’, which was subsequently adopted by pretty much every college/university and tons of high schools across the country.

If you’re part of the 79% of students who receive Mizzou Financial Aid, then you should already understand that keeping a close watch on the cash you have on hand is pretty important.
