Welcome! Texas Lutheran University participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). Through FFELP, students may apply for the Federal Stafford Loan and parents may apply for the PLUS loan. Alternative loans are also available to students who need additional funds.

Our students and parents often seek advice about which lender to choose for these loans. For the 2008-2009 academic year, TLU requested information from several lenders regarding their benefits and costs for these programs. The lenders that appear on this list were chosen because of their history of servicing our students and/or their responses to the request for information.
