About Marietta College

Marietta College is a four-year, private coeducational liberal arts college located in Marietta, Ohio. Founded in 1835, Marietta is one of the country’s 37 Revolutionary Colleges. The college offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and 3 Masters programs. Undergraduate programs are offered in several areas, ranging from fine arts and sciences to athletic training and petroleum engineering. Masters degrees are offered in areas including psychology and physician assistant studies. The college also offers special programs in a number of fields including investigative and leadership studies. Marietta College has been cited in “Best in the Midwest” and “Great Schools, Great Prices” by U.S. News & World Report. It has also been recognized as a “Best Midwestern College” by the Princeton Review and “Best in the Nation” by Forbes.com. Additionally, it has also been recognized by Peterson’s Competitive Colleges and Barron’s Best Buys in College Education.

Marietta College Financial Aid

Marietta College aims to make a quality higher education affordable for every student. Each year more than $14 million are awarded in financial assistance. More than 90 percent of students receive some sort of financial assistance and more than 83 percent of all students receive need-based financial aid.
